I have tried loads of systems to collect kitchen scraps and this is the first one that has worked flawlessly. I use it with the compostable bags. It is a great size, and the lid fits tightly enough so that you can't smell any of the odours (this is good because I am not great at remembering to empty it and tend to wait until it is completely full).
