I presume your chillies are home grown, and that leads me to believe that you had a prolific crop, which might be the rewards of your composting efforts!
There should be no problem in composting your left over chillies. If your chillies are dried, mix some moist materials with them, for example grass clippings or other fresh vegie scraps from the kitchen. Alternatively soak them in water before putting them into your compost bin, and mixing them with other raw materials. If your chillies are not dried, mix them also with other materials, but in this case you can use drier material, such as leaves, which are abundant at present. You should be aware that the seeds inside the chillies will not necessarily be destroyed in a small home composting system, and might germinate after you used the compost around the garden.
